From The Desk of the Managing Trustee
Responsiveness and Mindfulness both appear as a varying phraseology for the same thing – sensitive and applying mind and being “At present”. A person can be responsive only when he or she has Positive motivation, Benevolence and empathic concern. I quote those vocabularies because, I am going to talk about a society that is Responsive, Mindful and Magnanimous.
Madurai, the HQ of Thai Trust is one of the oldest and yet continually existing cities in the world, known for its Pomp, Glory and Festivities. The Chiththirai Thiruvizha – a 15-day whimsical celebration that marks the coronation ceremony and the celestial wedding of Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Sundarar is a world-renowned celebration. Millions of people come here to witness the glory and indulge in the jubilant and extremely contagious happiness during the festival that prevails everywhere. This in turn stimulates and foments the vital powers of the environment (The Panchabootham) and man.
Bolstered Responsiveness – This is the exact jargon; I need to use now. The deep-rooted connection between the Madhuraiets and their religious traditions has emerged as Bolstered Responsiveness, where in the wedding proceedings happens as though each family is marrying off their daughters. No one goes hungry or Thirsty. Everyone believes that it is the spiritual duty and offer fresh food and buttermilk to everyone irrespective of caste, creed or race. This act embodies the essence of compassion and selflessness and this is the ultimate Responsiveness and mindfulness I wanted to connect you with.

You Do/Become what you believe
The fundamental principles of mindfulness Viz. Focus, consciousness, awareness, and non-judgmental observation, are customary observances in earlier Vedic practices. Hence, being conscious is not new. Praxis.
